Steph Fleetman and Christine Miller, founders of Creatively Lancaster, say that the city’s arts scene has never been more thriving. Artists and crafters here are redefining the traditional maker’s spirit, while staying true to Pennsylvania Dutch traditions.

On a sunny Saturday, shoppers wander the market at Tellus360, where about 40 local vendors display their art and handmade goods. A singer croons upbeat folk tunes, and patrons sip pints of microbrews.

3. Lancaster Farmers Market

Lancaster Farmers Market is a great place to shop for local food and produce. Whether you’re looking for fresh breads, pies or meats, this market has something for everyone.

They’ve also got a variety of local vendors selling handmade craft items, gifts, furniture, and flowers. Plus, there’s an indoor dining area if you’re looking for something to eat during your visit.

They have a wide selection of meats, including grass-fed beef, lamb and pork from Country Meadows Farms. These products meet USDA prime standards and are free from hormones, antibiotics and other chemicals.
